Press release for Helo LX

German market launch of the "health bracelet" Helo LX

The range of fitness bracelets is huge. However, most fitness wristbands and smartwatches only offer a modest number of functions. The standard fitness wristbands only include pedometer and heart rate measurement. Other details such as distance run and calorie consumption are extrapolated and rarely correspond to reality.

Now, however, a bracelet has been presented which, with the help of innovative technology, contains functions which could previously only be measured with medical devices. The "health wristband" is called Helo and with its innovative Toshiba ApP lite processor is able to measure blood pressure, among other things. The data is collected by a light sensor that illuminates the skin and measures changes in light absorption. This method is new and unique on the market. The health wristband can even perform an ECG and a heart test.

Helo works with an app that is available for Android and iOS devices. So the new gadget needs only little power, which guarantees a very long battery life. In addition to the integrated pedometer and pulse measurement, the innovative gadget can measure the breathing rate. The measurement takes 40 seconds and is measured on the wrist. Pulse, blood pressure and breathing rate are also automatically recorded during the night. Thus, an unusual breathing rate, such as sleep apnea, can be detected directly before the illness becomes noticeable through tiredness and exhaustion. If abnormal values are present, the user is informed immediately.

Thanks to the various sensors and a dedicated algorithm, the health wristband can detect mood and fatigue. Even a heart test can now be performed easily and conveniently at home or on the road within 120 seconds. The measurement takes 120 seconds and is performed by positioning the index finger on the wristband. At the end of the measurement, the values are displayed and you can choose whether to repeat the measurement or save it in the log. By displaying the brachy values Helo performs an electrocardiogram. This measurement could previously only be taken at the doctor's office using an ECG monitor.

Another helpful feature is the SOS button. If you are in danger, up to 3 people can be alerted by pressing the SOS button. They receive an SMS with the coordinates of the person concerned. So the person can be located quickly and easily. This feature is very interesting for athletes who are on their own, as well as for children and people with dementia. In the near future, the health wristband should even be able to measure values such as the amount of alcohol in the blood and blood sugar levels.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
